A Word On Child Restraint Devices (Car Seats)

We are often asked if we supply Child Restraint Seats onboard our shuttles. The answer is no, we do not. The United States does not require children to travel in Car Seats in commercial vehicles. Parents are encouraged to bring their own car seats if they choose. We have heard parents say that they don't believe it's safe for a child to travel in a shuttle without a car seat. We understand the concerns parents have and offer this advice. Our shuttles have a maximum speed governor of 70 Miles Per Hour....an airplane travels at speeds in excess of 500 miles per hour. In short, we encourage you to bring your car seats for your children when you travel.

Ambiance Transportation is the leader in Port Canaveral Transportation, we have transported many passengers to the Ports in one weekend than most transportation companies see in a month. We're proud of the fact that we offer the lowest fares guaranteed and have a better than 95% on-time factor.

We have seen a rise in "Last Minute Booking Requests" and we believe this is largely due to the fact that Cruise Lines are offering rock bottom prices for customers who choose to book their cruise at the last minute. Unfortunately, this is a major problem for transportation companies and consumers alike.

We have a limited number of vehicles and time slots in which we can book your transportation. It is our policy to never overbook. As a result, we have been finding ourselves turning away customers who are booking last minute due to the fact that we are sold out.

If you have booked your cruise and your airline tickets in advance, please book your ground transportation right away. Do not wait for the last minute in hopes that the fares will drop like they do with the cruise lines. Transportation companies do not work the same way. The closer you are to your cruise date, the rates can be higher because you'll resort to taking a taxi and pay more than double the fares we charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What is the distance and drive time between Orlando Airport and Port Canaveral?
Answer: The Distance from Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral is 46 Miles and the drive time is approximately 1 Hour

Question: Do you offer transportation to other Florida Cruise Ports?
Answer: Yes, we sure do! For Orlando Cruise Transfers to other Port of Call in Florida, please visit www.OrlandoCruiseTransfers.com

Question: When should I make my reservation?
Answer: If you have already booked your flight, then you should book your ground transportation as well. There are two reasons for this. First, during the weekends is all transportation companies most busy time. We do sell out. Secondly, Fares are subject to change without notice. If you like the fares you see, book it - they can change tomorrow!

Question: Is the fare the same whether I book On-Line or over the Phone?
Answer: Yes, the fares you see on-line are the same over the telephone. If we offer an "On-Line Booking Special", those fares can only be booked on-line.

Question: What time should I schedule my pick up at the airport or port?
Answer: Generally, it takes approximately 30 minutes to claim your luggage once you arrive. The best policy is to schedule your pick up time at the airport about 30 to 45 minutes after your flight lands. When your ship docks in Miami, you have to clear US Customs and Immigration which can take over an hour. Generally, we do not schedule pick ups at Port Canaveral before 8:30AM.

Question: Is The Shuttle Guaranteed to be waiting for me when I arrive?
Answer: Your trip is 100% guaranteed with us. This means that you are contracting us to provide transportation. We have a better than 98% on-time rate. Please understand that we cannot always predict traffic and road conditions. We apologize in advance if the shuttle is delayed in picking you up.

Question: How will I find my driver when I arrive?
Answer: Your driver is given your Cell Phone Number (This is why we require it to make a reservation). Approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time, your driver will call you directly on your cell phone and coordinate the meeting place for pick up at the airport or cruise terminal.

Question: Will I be sharing my shuttle with someone else?
Answer: No, all of our shuttles are private which means there is no "ride-sharing" with strangers. This trip is all about you!

Question: What if I am late and my driver has to wait for me?
Answer: Our drivers will await up to 30 minutes at no additional charge. After 31 minutes, your credit card will be charged $50.00 for every 30 minutes the driver must wait for you to arrive. This does not apply to airport pick ups. In case your flight is late, our Dispatch Desk tracks your flight and adjusts your pick up time accordingly. That's why we ask for your arriving flight information when you make a reservation.

Question: I am traveling with children. Are car seats provided?
Answer: We do not offer car seats, however, you are more than welcomed to bring your own. They must meet the same standards as the airline requires.

Question: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Answer: Our fares are fully refundable if cancellation is made 31 days prior to your trip. After that time, there is a cancellation penalty. Please review our Terms and Conditions before making a reservation. If your flight was cancelled, we will refund 100% of your fare (even if it's last minute) providing you have documentation to verify the cancellation from the airline.

Question: Will the shuttles I be riding in be insured and permitted legally?
Answer: Yes, all of the shuttles we use are insured with a minimum of $1 Million Dollars of General Liability and we currently have permits to transport in and out of all major airports and cruise ports in the State of Florida.

Question: I saw on a competitor's website a fare that was lower than yours. What can I do?
Answer: If you will use the "contact us" form and e-mail us a copy of the link showing a fare lower than ours, we will beat their fare by 10%.

Question: Is it better and safer to book online?
Answer: Yes! All of our Reservation Forms are hosted on a 100% Secure Server which means your personal information is being sent directly to us and nobody else. Secondly, when you book online, you can take your time and book at your own pace. We suggest having your Airline and Cruise Line information readily available when making your reservation.
